Aleeya's Founder Story
My journey in the world of retail has been a fulfilling one, spanning nearly 20 years, with the latter half dedicated to luxury retail. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most iconic brands in the industry, from Coach to Net-A-Porter and Moda Operandi, where I helped shape consumer experiences and understand the nuances of luxury shopping. But it was after welcoming my son that I noticed a gap in the market—a lack of thoughtfully curated clothing and a decline in personalized service. That realization led me to found Nocca.
Nocca is not just a luxury retail store—it’s a destination for individuality, connection, and effortless style. We are a community-driven space where fashion meets purpose, and every piece tells a story. At Nocca, we believe luxury is not defined by price tags or logos, but by the experience we create and the relationships we build.
I’m passionate about helping people discover clothing that makes them feel beautiful and empowered, while also supporting independent designers who bring creativity and craftsmanship to the table. We’ve reimagined the shopping experience to be deeply personal and inclusive. From complimentary personal styling sessions to white-glove delivery and alterations, every detail is designed to make our customers feel valued. We’re not just selling clothes—we’re creating moments of joy, self-expression, and connection.
Nocca is also a platform for change. We’re passionate about supporting emerging designers, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering a community where diversity and individuality are celebrated. Our upcoming events, like designer showcases and styling workshops, are designed to bring people together and inspire a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity.
In essence, Nocca is a movement. It’s about redefining luxury as something that’s personal, meaningful, and approachable. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, celebrated, and inspired to embrace their unique style. Join us, and experience a new kind of luxury—one that’s as much about who you are as it is about what you wear.
This is one that may be easier with
the help of a friend. Measure across your upper back from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other. Try not to hunch over.
Measure all the way around your torso immediately above your bust.
Wearing your usual bra, with arms
relaxed at your sides, measure your bust at the fullest point, keeping
the tape parallel to the floor. It takes it past over both nipples, under the armhole and over the shoulder blades, around your back about
where your bra strap is.
Measure all the way around your torso immediately beneath your bust.
Measure around the narrowest part of the natural waistline. To find your natural waistline, bend to one side. There will usually be a crease where you bend. Often it is just below your ribcage. That's your natural waistline. Don't worry since this may seem higher than where you actually wear your pants and jeans. But this is the point that is so important for a great fit. Try to keep the tape measure parallel to the floor as you measure all the way around your torso. That's your natural Waist Circumference.
Standing with heels together, measure around your body at the broadest part of your hips (approximately 8 inches below natural waistline). This will include the fullest part of your backside too and should be just about where your legs meets your torso.
Place the tape measure around the widest part of your upper arm, your bicep. Then bend your arm slightly at the elbow. We want to be able to bend your arm in that nature.
Start from where your shoulder meets your neck and measure down along the front of your body to the tip (apex) of the bust.
For best results, tie a ribbon (or
string or skinny belt) at your natural waist (the narrowest part of the
waistline) to mark it. Then start from where your shoulder meets your
neck and measure down following along the curve of your front to the
marker at your natural waist. It might be helpful to ask someone to help with this measurement!
